The current R3S unit uses a Wi‑Fi frequency that the U.S. government reserves for federal use.
Because that frequency isn’t allowed for consumer products in the U.S., the device cannot pass FCC approval and therefore cannot be sold here.

Ruark is redesigning the product for a future release which will be global.
At this time, they're expecting something like this to be available in late 2027.
